Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh ginger (grated with skin)
- 500 ml water
- 3 lemons (juiced)
Directions
- Roughly grate the fresh ginger, leaving skin on, until you have approximately 1 cup
- Place the grated ginger into a sauce pot and add 500 ml of cold water
- Cover the pot and bring to a boil over medium-high heat
- Once the liquid is boiling, reduce to medium-low heat and boil (covered) for 40 minutes.
- Once it has boiled for 40 minutes, remove from heat and let cool.
- Once cooled, strain and press liquid from the grated ginger into a medium mixing bowl.
- Add the juice from the three lemons.
- Place into a sealed container and store in fridge.
- Drink a 2 oz shot first thing in the morning to boost your immune system. Can add a dash of cayenne for a kick, if you want to kick-start your metabolism.
